I just came back from an amazing yet exhausting trip to the Adriatic coast line. As my granny turned 90 she invited the whole family to join on a Cruise trip starting from Venice down to Greece and up again, but more about that later. Prior to this we stayed three nights in Venice.
Here you'll see the pictures from our second day spent in this gorgeous city. I was actually quite happy I took the Azzurro striped scarf by Julie Egli with me. It protected me from the sun and it kind of reminds me of Venice! We had no particular destination in mind, so we just wandered through the endless-seeming calli (narrow streets) until we reached the Scuola Grande di San Rocco. A beautiful building with stunning paintings from Tintoretto, very recommendable. Also worth seeing is the Mercato di Rialto located near Rialto bridge, fresh fish and fruits as far as the eye can see!
And now, if you'll excuse me, I have to prepare the birthday party for tomorrow. Talk to you later.
