Hair. A subject we are all very sensitive to. We all know "bad hair days" that probably most of the people who surround us wouldn't notice, but we do and when we do we feel uncomfortable and / or insecure about it. It's kind of ridiculous if you think about it, but on the other hand there are also those days when you look into the mirror and your hair is on point and we feel awesome about it! 😎
My "good hair days" have definitively increased since I was sent a hair-care-package from Brooklyn Soap Company. I am mostly sceptical when a products come with labels like "natural", "organic" or "vegan" whether they are useful or not. Don't get me wrong I totally support all three, but it's one thing to be natural, organic and vegan and another to create a useful product. My scepticism quickly passed after a few days of trying their products. Not only do they smell really good, but I kind of feel like my hair is stronger and looks healthier.
So today I thought I'd share with you two hair styles created with the Brookly Soap Company products - I hope you enjoy!
NICE 'N' SLEAZY
This is the hair style I usually go with when we're doing office work or on weekends. Simply rub a bit of the Grooming Clay between your hands and go wildly through your hair. Simple, but effective.
PS: Of course my hair isn't sleazy, at least not after using the Brookly Soap Company products 😉 It's a reference to the The Stranglers song.
You can also take their products showering with you! The bodywash has an amazing scent and I love it for being a two-in-one product, because it's also a facewash. And to get the products out of your hair again use the shampoo specially created for blonde hair (also available for dark hair). Both are made with natural, organic and vegan ingerdiants only and handcrafted in a kitchen, not a factory. Mine was created by Lisa according to the tag it came with.
Post-shower-hair-style. If I didn't use hair products on a daily basis this is what it'd look like.
For events and photo shootings that are more elegant this is the hair style I go with: Slicked back yet with a certain casuality. The Classic Pomade is perfect to create this look as it'll give you a natural shine without making it look greasy. Also you don't need to check the mirror every two mintues as it is quite strong holding.
