Whenever you decide to put on a suit, most people react surprised as if it was a big deal that you dressed up in the morning (unless you work at a place that requires a suit of course). With the new wideness that is currently trending in menswear the looks become more laid back and therefore less “he tried hard to look that way”.
Truth be told I don’t care what people think, if I want to dress up I do, if not I don’t. It’s simple as that. But I believe it just puts less stress on the look itself – you don’t need to check if your shirt is properly tucked in every ten minutes, as you’re just wearing a comfortable sweater over it. You can leave the blazer on or only use it as a jacket in spring, because the look will work just as fine without blazer. The boots add another casual-cool vibe to it.
All in all I think not only the cuts, but also the rules of how to wear a suit will loosen up this season. You’ll be able to experiment with your look and create something new, more laid back.
