Almost two weeks ago Moritz and I were cruising from Zurich to St. Moritz to spend the weekend with a couple of other bloggers at the Kempinski. The place we were able to call "ours" for three nights was none other than the 440 sqm spacious Corvatsch Tower with four seperate bedrooms, a living / dining area, kitchen and office. A cozy home away from home that could be yours for only a couple of thousands of francs per night.
After a couple of glasses of champagne to calm our excitement we headed, a tiny bit tipsy, but happy we'd spend the next 72 hours there, to the restaurant to enjoy a four course vegan meal; because Andrea is vegan we all got to taste a vegan dinner with specialties such as avocado spagetthi. Even if vegan isn't entirely my thing I thought the gesture was very thoughtful and it was definiviely an experience!
St. Moritz isn't just a great place to be in winter, but also in summer. There might not be as many visitors, but the range of activities is just as wide: whether you want to go hiking, climbing, paragliding or just want to relax and eat well you'll find plenty of ways to enjoy. Apropos relaxation, on 2'800 sqm the Kempinski offers everything from swimming pool to gym to various saunas and even a seperate ladies spa.
Service is one of the most important aspects of a hotel and it takes a lot of effort so the guest really notices good service. The whole team just has to work as one unit for them to achieve. Despite the many people working at the Kempinski they were all always extremely friendly and no wish was left unfulfilled - this definitively deserves a five out of five rating.
Now all that is left to say is thank you Paul and the Kempinski for this awesome weekend! We both really enjoyed it!
The second night we dined at the Restaurant Enoteca. The interior is truly stunning, I love the mix between the traditional room with its plastering, columns and wooden floor and the modern table settings, the display of hundreds of wines and the plants, very atmospheric. The 15 Gault Millau points awarded cuisine is Mediterranean inspired and simply delicious.
