For some time now my style has evolved towards something more subtle. Not as many flashy prints and colours as I used to wear, but rather focusing on high quality, good cuts and timelessness. If you've watched my Snapchat story last week you know that I addressed the problem of fast fashion once again. I will always love (new) clothes, but I must admit that I have grown fond of the pieces that stayed with me for the past couple of seasons and I really looked forward to wear all the jackets, sweaters and winter clothes I had stored over summer. I think it's important to take care of your clothes so you won't get tired of them, because they're in a bad condition. Last year for example I brought several pairs of pants to a tailor to have them altered in order to fit again rather than throwing them away.
I know all this may sound weird coming from a fashion blogger, but still it is important to me to write about it. Also in terms of shopping I buy a lot less than I used to and try to look for pieces that are a good addition to my existing wardrobe, sort of working off a list of garments that count as must-haves (to be defined personally, of course).
So much for my little excursion. As for this outfit I opted for a British look wearing a pilot jacket, roll neck sweater, both in blue shades, and a pair of white chinos. For a casual touch I wore my adidas Ponyhair sneakers.
