It is that time of the year again where nature, and ourselves included, awake from hibernation. The days become longer and finally also warmer. To be honest I've been ready for spring ever since we returned from Australia about a month ago. There is just such an uplift in my mood when the sun is out, the birds are singing and the first flowers start to blossom.
One of the very first days of spring was at the end of February when we traveled to Lucerne and the Hotel Villa Honegg. Carl F. Bucherer had invited us to discover their 2017 watch novelties as well as interpreting them in an editorial. We wanted to take this dreamy feeling of being in a small bubble surrounded by sun, chirping birds and the blooming nature and place it into this still wintery season while small bits of color like the Carl F. Bucherer Manero PowerReserve in pine green signal the transition to spring. But spring isn't just about watching nature come to life again, it is also about change. A new surrounding often evokes the desire for change, whether on a spiritual, personal or professional level.
And now hop into our small Spring Bubble and discover the Carl F. Bucherer 2017 watch novelties ahead of their official presentation at the watch fair Baselworld tomorrow.
To me a watch is something rather personal, an item you carry around all day long and end up having for years to come. That's why we wanted to be up close to create a certain intimacy.
