London Collections: Men FW 2013 (Day 3)

E. Tautz

My first thought when seeing the pictures of the E. Tautz show: Sherlock Holmes. From the hat to the coat to the sometimes rather wide tailored suit - the evidences led to the british inspector from the late 19th to the early 20th century. I enjoyed the color palette Patrick Grant used for his designs - colors of fall and winter. And as I am crazy with prints you can imagine yourself that I really like the pants from the second picture. Over all a really nice collection.

Hardy Amies

Another fashion house who sent it's models hiking in the hills. What we have already seen at Topman Desgin was now brought to another level. The suits and the men are more elegant and retro. What I liked the most were the slim-fit suits and the cool sunglasses. Claire Malcolm - creative director - was also focusing on the matching outerwear, like the cape or the shearling jacket. The Hardy Amies presentation truly was classy, Gentleman-like and utterly british.
