Text by Oliver Lips
It is one of those first spring days and life seems at ease. The two of them just lay in the grass, soaking up the sun. For only this afternoon time is standing still, the moment feels infinite, the possibilities endless, and the future bright.
For what it's worth, this moment feels so real, so wholesome, like there's never been anything else. No past, memories wiped clear. Is it a new beginning?
Senses sharpened, they feel every sunbeam soaking through their skin. A breeze of fresh air running through their hair, along the tips of their fingers and playing with the sheer dresses and shirts. No noise, except for the humming of the insects, chirping of the birds and occasional sighing of the person they're laying next to.
Is this what freedom feels like?
