First Come The Shoes

Together with the Singapore-based shoes & accessories brand Pedro we have created six looks showcasing their Fall / Winter 2015 collection that you might want to wear this winter.

Look 1.

Don't ask me why, but the leather jacket and the tucked in roll neck sweater left me feeling looking like an Italian Mafia guy from the 70's or 80's. Probably also because of my fresh haircut and this photo I posted on Instagram.

I've always loved a good, chunky, derby shoe. It makes your walk more elevated, sort of like you're trying to say "look at my shoes, aren't they awesome!?". Also they are a quite dominant piece in your wardrobe so you might want to keep it simple clothing-wise.

Unfortunately what you cannot see in those pictures is the cool red "inside life" the shoes have, so they'll look good even when not worn. As for the bag it can be worn as a backpack, like I did, or as a briefcase, since the shoulder straps are detachable.

As you may have already noticed I am a sucker for loafers! I wear them in summer as in winter, with elegant and casual looks. My motto: you can never go wrong with loafers (unless you go hiking of course).

This is a look you might consider, if you're going to school or university: not too casual, not too elegant with a backpack that carries all your books and some comfortable sneakers to bring you around all day. I especially love the golden detail at the heels, if that won't spark a conversation with your class mates, I don't know what will!

One thing I love to do on a sunny Sunday afternoon in winter is going for a stroll in the woods or city. A relaxing walk to let the past week reflect on you and gather your thoughts for the challenges ahead of you. And in case you're wondering how to dress for this "occasion" - this is it.

Last but not least a boyish look with the focus on black leather.
